Living The Dream (RTE)
Living The Dream on RTE isn't bad. Mother & daughter run a boutique hotel in Bordeaux for a week. Little drama but watchable. 4/5 maybe?

Raw (RTE)
Maybe it's me but why do all RTE drama series feel identical? Same stilted writing, same views of Dublin, same completely unsympathetic characters. This just feels like a bad episode of Fair City with some welcome token nudity.

I enjoyed this TV programme in which Francis and John Brennan from 5 star Park Hotel, Kenmare headed to Poulaphouca house in Wicklow. The 2 hoteliers assessed the small guesthouse's ailing business and then offered much needed advice on how to improve...

Heat Final (RTE)
I had written off this series by the third episode but it still showed glimmers of quality. Luckily those glimmers shone through to beat off the bozos and tooth veneers. The final gave us the two best chefs who were clearly passionate and capable. ...
